Smriti Irani’s ‘Ek Hi Thappad’ from Maa Gyan prompts Bata Chappal Comments

Smriti Irani shared a post sent to her by her mother on Instagram.

Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani on Monday night shared a funny picture sent by her mother to the world on Instagram. Ms Irani’s post, a child of the ’80s, was like growing up during that time – and it has left hundreds of Instagram users happy and nostalgic in equal measures.

The picture shared by Smriti Irani read, “When I was a kid, they didn’t take me to a psychologist… my mother was able to open my chakra, stabilize my karma and clear my aura ”

The Union minister revealed in the caption of his post that the picture was sent to him by his mother. “My mom happily shared it with me… And whose mother has cleaned such aura, please raise your hand (Please raise your hand if your mother cleaned her aura like this),” she wrote. “PS: Ma, love you,” he added.

The post has garnered over 32,000 ‘likes’ and over 1,300 comments since being shared on Instagram last night. In the comments section, many people agreed with the Union Minister.
