Sonu Nigam went the way of NFT; First English single launched with NFT series

Digital entertainment and technology company JetSynthesis on Friday said it has partnered with singer Sonu Nigam to launch the Indian music industry’s first NFT series.

The series was started to appeal to the affluent diaspora in London who want to stay connected to their roots, featuring the travel and work of the popular music icon, a statement said.

The NFT series will include Corporation’s single ‘Hall of Fame’ – their first official English track.

According to the statement, the track is the result of a strong association between Global Music Junction, the digital entertainment arm of Jetsynthesis, and I Believe Music of Nigam.

An NFT is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and, therefore, not exchangeable. NFTs can be used to represent objects such as photos, videos, audios and other types of digital files.

Jet Media Network – the global arm of JetSynthesys – is the technology innovator behind the creation of the NFT series, from creating a digital version of the ‘Hall of Fame’ to the corporation’s stories behind the diaries of lyrics for their most popular songs and featured images. The statement said.
