Specialty chemical stock recommended 500% dividend, FII stake in Q4: Do you have it?

Balaji Amines is a mid cap specialty chemical company registered market cap of 7,471.99 crore during Friday’s closing. The firm specializes in the production of Methylamines, Ethylamines, Specialty Chemical Derivatives and Pharma Excipients. Balaji Amines Limited (BAL), one of India’s top manufacturers of Aliphatic Amines, was established in 1988. The firm has announced its Q4 and FY23 results, along with a 500% dividend for eligible shareholders.

The Board of Directors has “recommended a Final Dividend of Rs. 10/- per Equity Share i.e. 500% on the face value of Rs. 2/- per share and payable after it is approved by the shareholders in the 35th Annual General Meeting of the Company” Will happen,” Balaji Amins said in a stock exchange filing today.

During Q4FY23, the company reported a consolidated revenue of Rs 471.39 crore, a decline of 39.60% over the previous year. 780.36 crore in Q4FY22. Its net income for the quarter ended March 2023 stood at 476.90 cr as against 785.41 crore in the quarter ending March 2022. Balaji Amines said that its net expense was 391.93 Cr down by 34.91% YoY during the quarter under review 602.18 crore in the year-ago quarter. Balaji Amines Net Profit Dips 56.40% To Rs 47.40 Crore During Q4FY23 108.72 crore in Q4FY22. EPS of Balaji Amines down 33.56 to 14.63.

Share of Balaji Amines in BSE on Friday 2306.10 is down 3.19% from its previous close 2382.20. The stock touched a 52-week high 3,841.85 (15/09/2022) and at a 52-week low 1,925.05 on (29/03/2023). During Q4FY23, the company reported promoter shareholding of 53.71%, FII shareholding of 4.45%, 0.34, DII shareholding of 0.34% and public shareholding of 41.50%. As per Trendline data, Balaji Amines promoters holding remains at 53.70% in the March 2023 quarter, while FII/FPI holding has increased from 4.39% in the Dec 2022 quarter to 4.45% in the March 2023 quarter. The holding has increased from 0.08% in Q3FY23 to 0.09% in Q4FY23, and institutional investors’ holding has increased from 4.76% to 4.79%.
