A SpiceJet aircraft on Tuesday made a ‘normal landing’ after its indicator light failed at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Pakistan. SpiceJet said the Delhi-Dubai flight landed safely at the Karachi airport and no emergency was declared.
“On July 5, 2022, SpiceJet B737 aircraft operations flight SG-11 (Delhi – Dubai) was diverted to Karachi due to an indicator light failure. The aircraft landed safely in Karachi and landed passengers safely. No emergency was declared and the aircraft made a normal landing,” SpiceJet spokesperson Told.
A SpiceJet spokesperson said, “There was no prior report of any malfunction in the aircraft. The passengers have been provided refreshments.”
The airline said a replacement plane is being sent to Karachi which will take the passengers to Dubai.
