SSC JE Notification Today: How to Register, All you need to know about Junior Engineering Exam

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the official notification for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Quantity Surveying & Contract – Exam today, August 12. The notification will be available on the official website of SSC. at ssc.nic.in.

The last date for submission of registration form is 2nd September. SSC JEE Paper-I will be conducted in November in Computer Based Examination (CBE). Details about who can apply, how to register and exam pattern check below:

SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: Candidates applying for the posts should have completed Diploma or Degree in relevant field – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying and Contracts with two years experience.

Age Range: The maximum age limit is 32 years as on 1st January 2022.

Step 2: Go to the Recruitment Application link on the homepage

Step 3: Register yourself

Step 4: Fill the details

Step 5: Upload the required documents

Step 6: Pay the application fee. to present or to show

Step 7: Save and Download. Take a print out of the application form for further use

SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2022: Application Fee

The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 100. Belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Ex-Servicemen or Women are exempted from paying the fee.

SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2022: Exam Pattern

There will be two papers in SSC JE. The paper will be held on November 1. It will be computer based objective type test whereas paper will be written test. Those who clear Paper 1 will be allowed to write Paper 2. Those who clear the second paper will have to go through the document verification process.

Paper 1 will have 50 questions each from General Intelligence & Reasoning and General Awareness. The exam pattern consists of 100 questions on General Engineering. The total marks are 200 and it will be conducted for a duration of two hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
