MK Stalin orders that all central government exams be administered in regional languages for the benefit of students from all states of the country

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday demanded that all central government examinations should be conducted in regional languages. He said that this would benefit the students of all the states of the country.

It may be recalled that the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu was the first person to demand the operation of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) in regional languages including Tamil. The central government had announced in April that CAPF examinations would be conducted in 13 languages, apart from Hindi and English.

Stalin said in a statement on Tuesday that this was a long pending demand of the DMK in Parliament, State Legislative Assemblies and all public forums.

He said that opportunities for youth should not be limited to those who know only Hindi and English and if central government examinations are allowed to be written in regional languages, many youth will be benefitted.

Stalin said that India is a union of states and youth of all states should get equal opportunities.

He said that everyone should raise their voice for conducting Central Government exams in regional languages and added that this step would be victorious in the days to come.
