Siblings have a habit of being toppers. Together. An alumnus of Victor Convent School, he jointly topped Morena district in his class 12 in 2017, securing 94.5% marks.

How was it that they stopped giving boards together, being two years apart? Nandini said, “I had skipped two classes in my childhood and we have been classmates since class 2.

He said there was support of siblings rather than rivalry. “In fact, my brother played a very important role in my success,” Nandini told TOI.

“In my mock tests, I used to get bad marks. It was very demotivating. I would be disappointed and wonder how I would have done in the actual exam if I had performed so poorly in the mock exam. My brother’s support worked like magic. He always encouraged me to keep practicing and not think about the results of the mock tests,” Nandini said.

Sachin said that Nandini had always worked hard in school and later. “He inspired me. Seeing him, I also started focusing on my studies. I must give him credit for encouraging me.”

“Together we are a force,” he laughed.

“Me and Bhaiya will put our heads together to tackle difficult problems. We helped each other,” Nandini said. “Cracking CA was my mother’s dream. I am glad we did it in style,” said Sachin.
