Billionaire Elon Musk Backed Chief starlinkIndia Operation Sanjay Bhargava, has resigned. Bhargava announced this in a post on the professional networking website linkedin, Bhargava said in a statement, “I have stepped down as Country Director and Chairman of the Board of Starlink India due to personal reasons. My last working day was December 31, 2021. I will not be commenting to individuals and to the media, so please my Respect privacy.” LinkedIn post.
Starlink is a division of Musk’s SpaceX aerospace company. Bhargava’s resignation comes just days after the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) asked Starlink to stop taking bookings in India as it did not have a license to operate in the country. The government also advised people against subscribing to Starlink.
