Earlier, actor Suniel Shetty had also urged everyone to wait and let the truth come out in time. Speaking at a press conference without naming anyone, Sunil said, ‘I would like to say that wherever raids take place, many people are caught. And we assume that this child must have consumed drugs or this child must have done it. But the proceedings are on, give that child a chance to breathe. Whenever something happens in Bollywood, the media scrutinizes everything and reaches a conclusion. Give the child a chance. Let the truth come out. Late on Saturday evening, the NCB team busted an alleged drugs party on the Cordelia cruise ship, which was on its way to Goa in the middle of the sea. According to NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, earlier today, eight persons were detained by the NCB for questioning in connection with the alleged seizure of drugs on the cruise ship.

“Eight persons – Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohk Jaswal, Vikrant Chhokar, Gomit Chopra are being questioned in connection with the raid at an alleged rave party on a cruise off the Mumbai coast,” Sameer Wankhede told ANI.

Three women, all residents of Delhi, are among those brought for questioning at the NCB office in Mumbai.

NCB chief SN Pradhan told ANI that further action would be taken based on the inputs received from the prisoners. “Proceedings were already taking place. We are continuously gathering intelligence. We took action after the inputs we received were confirmed. Wherever the information is received, action will be taken and it does not matter with whom one is concerned. Our aim is a drug-free India,” Pradhan said.

According to NCB sources, cocaine, ganja, MD and other intoxicants were recovered from the party.
