After waiting for hours, the young man from Bengaluru had to leave for Jakarta city with only his handbag and laptop. All his clothes, shoes, toiletries, some currency and important work documents are inside his missing blue luggage.
“I believe that the second passenger will look for his bag soon after realizing his mistake and contact the Jakarta airport authorities or Sri Lankan Airlines. I requested the airline to help in locating the baggage Because I haven’t changed clothes or shoes, but in vain,” Johri told TOI.
Attempts to reach Sri Lankan Airlines representatives or the helpline with a query regarding the Bengaluru passenger were in vain till Thursday.
