Supreme Court orders transfer of Sukesh Chandrashekhar from Tihar Jail to Mandoli Jail

The Supreme Court today directed the authorities to shift thugs Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his wife Leena Pauloj from Tihar Jail to Delhi’s Mandoli Jail within a week.

The direction was passed by a bench headed by Justice Ravindra Bhat.

Earlier, Sukesh had leveled some allegations of extortion against the Tihar Jail authorities. The court today said it is for the authorities to decide whether action is required against them.
