New Delhi: An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale struck Surat in Gujarat on Thursday morning.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 km at around 10.26 am.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 61 km southeast of Surat.
There has been no loss of life or property so far.
