Suresh Oberoi was born in 1946 in Balochistan and his family came to India after partition. The family settled in Hyderabad from where he moved to Mumbai. His wife Yashodhara hails from Tamil Nadu. Ram Gopal Varma is responsible for bringing his son Vivek Oberoi to the world of cinema.
