Shekhar Suman has been vocal in getting justice for Sushant Singh Rajput.

Shekhar Suman reacts to the recent shocking claims that Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered and did not die by suicide.

Back in 2020, the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput sent shockwaves across the nation. At that time, his death was being investigated by three investigative agencies including the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Now, nearly two years after Sushant passed away, a hospital staffer who was part of his post-mortem examination at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai has raised doubts over the nature of his death. Roopkumar Shah, the mortuary attendant at the hospital, claimed that he saw multiple fractures on the actor’s body, indicating that his apparent suicide was in fact a “murder”.

Shekhar Suman, who has been at the forefront of calling for justice for the late actor, reacted to the recent claims on Twitter. He urged the CBI to look into this new lead. He explained how the new report could be helpful in unearthing the conspiracy behind the death.

“In view of the sensational statement of Roop Kumar Shah, regarding the alleged suicide of SSR, we urge the CBI to take immediate cognizance of his revelations. This is a surefire clue that will expose the conspiracy. SSR case needs closure & justice done,” Suman tweeted.

Even the late actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a note on Instagram in light of the new allegations. “If there is even an iota of truth in this evidence, we urge the CBI to look into it really seriously. We have always believed that you guys will do a fair investigation and tell us the truth. Our hearts are yet to find any closure,” she said.

Earlier this week, Roopkumar Shah claimed that he was present at Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem and said that there were five bodies in the hospital at that time, one of which was a VIP. Roopkumar Shah told TV9, “When I saw Sushant Singh Rajput’s body, there were fracture marks and some marks around his neck due to some pressure.”

He alleged that the strangulation marks he saw on Sushant’s body were different from the marks which are visible due to hanging. Shah claimed that he informed his higher-ups about the marks but was ignored and only asked to click photographs of the body as per his orders.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra home on June 14, 2020.
