Sushmita Sen reportedly felt uneasy during the shoot, was back home in 2 days

Everyone was shocked and worried when Sushmita Sen on Thursday revealed that she had recently suffered a heart attack. A day later, it is now reported that the Arya actress was rushed to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital on February 27 after she felt chest discomfort while shooting.

“Sushmita was shooting for one of her assignments when she developed chest pain. She was examined by a medical professional on the set and then immediately taken to the hospital,” claimed a source quoted by E-Times.

The entertainment portal also claimed that the angioplasty procedure was done immediately after which she was suggested to stay in the hospital only so that her vitals could be monitored. He was discharged on 1 March. The source added, “Sushmita was back home on March 1 and she is feeling absolutely fine.”

On Thursday evening, Sushmita Sen opened up about her heart attack by sharing a picture with her father. He wrote, “I had a heart attack a few days ago…angioplasty was done…stent was put in…and most importantly, my cardiologist confirmed ‘my heart is big’.”

“Thanks to so many people for their timely help and constructive action…will do so in another post! ❤️ This post is just to let you (my well wishers and dear ones) know the good news…that all is well and I’m ready for some life again!!!” said the actress.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sushmita Sen will be next seen in Aarya 3. In the show, she plays the role of a powerful hero who goes the extra mile to save her family from criminals. The series is based on the Spanish original ‘Penoza’ and tells the story of a mother named Arya (Sushmita Sen), who takes to the underworld after the death of her husband to save her children and family. Apart from Arya, Sushmita will also be seen in Taali, which is based on the life of transgender activist Gauri and her rise in the community.
