Taapsee Pannu, Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal’s Manmarziyaan clocks 5 years today.
Taapsee Pannu is celebrating 5 years of her film Manmarziyaan. The film was directed by Anurag Kashyap.
On 14th September 2018, the audience witnessed the release of Manmarziyaan, a film that achieved recognition amongst movie enthusiast throughout the country. As the film clocked 5 years today, the lead actress of the film Taapsee Pannu and film director’s Kanika Dhillon celebrated the same with a heartfelt Instagram post.
The two talented women who made their mark in Indian Cinema, became a winning combination that gave us many memorable films together. Taking to their Instagram handle, the duo opened up about their association and also revisited the film.
Sharing a bundle of pictures, Kanika wrote, “Wow, it’s been an amazing five years since #Manmarziyaan! From there to #HaseenDillruba, #RashmiRocket, #PhirAayiHasseenDillruba and #Dunki, what a ride! Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Manmarziyaan was applauded for its compelling storyline, remarkable performances and breakthrough writing. Critics and audience not only highly praised the impactful performance by Taapsee Pannu but also Kanika Dhillon’s exceptional screenplay.
A moment ago, Taapsee’s co-star Abhishek Bachchan also shared a photo of their team and wrote, “Five of us, five years strong. #5YearsOfManmarziyaan @anuragkashyap10 @taapsee @vickykaushal09 @aanandlrai.”
Vicky Kaushal who also starred in the film took the comments section and dropped in ‘❤️’ emojis.
Taapsee has been busy with her work this year. The actress has a slew of movies in the pipeline. These include Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Taapsee stars with Shah Rukh Khan in the movie, marking her first film with the actress. She also has the Haseen Dilruba sequel, titled Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba. She also has movies such as Empire and Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan in the making.
Abhishek Bachchan on the other hand was recently seen in Ghoomer.
