Five people, including a woman, died after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in Tamil Nadu’s Villupuram. The police gave this information on Sunday. MK Stalin for Tamil Nadu said that four notices have been suspended in connection with the incident. Police officials said that five people were registered for admission to a government hospital late on Saturday night, out of which three people died. Two others, including the woman, died on Sunday. One person has been arrested in connection with the incident and police are on the lookout for others. The incident took place on Saturday night at Ekkiarkuppam in Markanam near Villupuram, officials said.
