After launching an operation to capture it, the tiger left Singer Range in MTR buffer zone, which is 32 km away. On 1 October, a tribal was murdered in Kurumbarpadi settlement near Masinagudi.

The tiger was sent to Mysore Zoo for treatment after getting permission from the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) and as per protocol. Four veterinarians and some forest officials accompanied the animal.
“Special facility will be given for treatment of tiger in the zoo. Before transport, intravenous glucose was administered and its pulse was checked,” said Neeraj. “The entire process was documented and videographed,” he said.
