Tamil Nadu minister launches new insurance scheme for construction workers

A new insurance scheme for the welfare of over one lakh construction workers and Real Estate Vision 2030, set up by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), was formally launched here on Saturday.

The insurance scheme to help construction workers was formally launched by Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Minister S Muthusamy during the CREDAI FairPro 2022 event. A press release said that after the launch of the scheme, some laborers received the plan document from the minister in the presence of senior officials of CREDAI during the programme.

Credai said the insurance scheme will assist the construction worker and his family from accidents during motherhood or during any real estate project, Credai said.
