Eminent Tamil scholar and orator K.A. from Ambil Padugai of Tiruchi. Nedunchezhiyan died on Friday at the age of 79 at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai.
A recipient of the state government’s Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi Semozhi Tamil Award, he had authored over 20 books.
The late Tamil scholar is survived by his wife Sakkubai, a son and two daughters. His body was brought to his residence in KK Nagar in Tiruchi later in the day. ,
