The National Investigation Agency, which is probing the recent killings of targeted minorities in Kashmir, has summoned around 40 government teachers from various schools. It may be recalled that the terrorists shot a Hindu and a Sikh teacher separated from the rest of the Muslim teachers. Despite the ongoing investigation, the government has taken several steps to instil confidence in the minority population in the Valley. More than 400 people have also been taken into custody.
