Tarun Garg, who was earlier the Director of Sales, Marketing and Service, Hyundai Motor India Limited, is now the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Gopala Krishnan CS has also been promoted as Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO), and will look after production, quality management and supply chain. He was earlier Vice President (Production).
The company said Garg and Krishnan will continue to be whole-time directors on the HMIL board.
Apart from announcing prices for the Ioniq 5 in India, Hyundai is expected to have a number of concept cars on display this year with a focus on autonomous driving technology and electric vehicles. The company will also showcase the Ioniq 6 electric sedan.
