Tata Harrier’s XMAS and XMS variants launched; Prices start at Rs 17.20 lakh – Times of India

Tata Motors launched it today Christmas And xms Variants of harrier SUVs in the Indian market Tata Harrier The XMS variant has been launched at a starting price of Rs 17.20 lakh, while the Harrier XMAS variant is priced at Rs 18.50 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).
The new Harrier XMS variant is placed between the XM and XT variants and is available in a manual gearbox only. Situated between the XMA and XTA+ variants, the new Harrier XMAS trim comes mated to an automatic transmission.
As far as features are concerned, the Tata Harrier XMAS and XMS variants get a touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a reverse parking camera, an 8-speaker sound system and more. Till now, the panoramic sunroof was offered on the XT+ and XTA+ variants.
The Harrier XT+ and XTA+ variants are priced at Rs 18.20 lakh and Rs 19.50 lakh respectively (both prices ex-showroom). Sunroof is available in both these variants for less than Rs 1 lakh.
Built on Tata’s OMEGARC platform derived from the Land Rover D8, the Tata Harrier is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Kryotec BS6 diesel engine that churns out 167.6 Bhp of peak power and 350 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
Bye Harrier is offering the SUV with fuel efficiency of 16.35 kmpl and 14.6 kmpl for the MT variant and AT variant respectively.
Compared to the XT and XT+ variants, the new Harrier XMAS and XMS variants miss out on features like R17 alloy wheels, cruise control, automatic climate control, push button start, central locking, soft-touch dashboard, air purifier. Rear armrest with cup holders.
