Tata Signa – India’s first CNG powered M&HCV truck
Tata Motors has introduced India’s first CNG-powered M&HCV truck, the Signa in 28 and 19 tonne nodes. The all-new Signa CNG Truck is available with diverse wheelbase and load deck length options and cowl option for cabin customization. These models are powered by a 5.7-litre SGI engine that produces 180hp of peak power and 650Nm of peak torque. These trucks offer a range of up to 1,000 km.
Tata Prima – India’s first truck with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)
Primarily introduced in 2010, now the top-of-the-line Tata Prima range gets India’s first Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The company says that these trucks are equipped with safety features like Collision Mitigation System (CMS) and Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), which have been developed with wide recognition, especially for Indian operating conditions. Additional safety features include Driver Monitoring System (DMS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
