Bye Motors says that this unique and luxurious line-up is inspired by ‘business jets’ which will appeal to the group of customers who love opulence and want to soar high in luxury. The Jet Edition will be offered with top-of-the-line features with exclusive exterior and interior color themes. Nexon, Harrier and K Jet Editions Safari Will be available with dual tone combination of clay Brass The body and platinum silver roof and front get jet black and silver skid plates along with alloy paint.
The interior offers dual-tone Oyster White and Granite Black tones. The SUV also gets a techno-steel bronze finish mid-pad on the instrument panel as well as bronze accents on the door and floor consoles. The front headrests of all the three SUVs get jet embroidery and the seats get deco stitching in bronze thread.
Tata Harrier Jet, Safari Jet and Nexon The new top variant will be in the jet lineup. The Jet variant will be available from today across all authorized Tata Motors dealerships.
Tata Harrier and Safari Jet Edition: What’s New?
The Harrier and Safari will now be equipped with ESP safety functions like Driver Dose Off Alert, Panic Brake Alert and After Impact Braking. These features will be in addition to the existing 14 safety functions. Additionally, both the SUVs will also get a Type-C USB charger across all the lines.
The Harrier will now feature electronic parking brake in all 4 disc brakes along with manual and automatic variants.
Most importantly, both the SUVs will also include a wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, air purifier and a wireless charger. The interior is now integrated with Tri-Arrow Perforated Oyster White – Beneke-Calico leatherette seats and various exquisite bronze inserts.
Powering the Harrier and Safari is the same Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre multi-jet turbocharged diesel engine that produces 170 bhp at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of peak torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed torque converter and a 6-speed manual.
Tata Nexon Jet Edition: What’s New?
In the case of the Nexon, features carried over from the standard version include ventilated front seats, an electric sunroof with tilt function, an air purifier with AQI display and a wireless charger.
The Tata Nexon will be available with two engine options, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 120 bhp power and 170 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel motor that makes 110 bhp and 260 Nm. Transmission options for both include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The Nexon has Eco, City and Sport drive modes.
It was rumored that Tata Motors would launch facelifted versions of Harrier and Safari. The new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine was expected to come with 360-degree cameras and an updated infotainment system and reports also suggested that the SUV might get an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
