The production version hasn’t deviated much from the Tata HBX concept that was unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo. The exterior design is in line with its bigger siblings, the Harrier and Safari, with an aggressive front and sporting signature split lighting design. The aesthetics are underlined by a tri-arrow pattern, surrounded by LED DRLs, while the projector headlamps are positioned down on the bumper. It gets wraparound LED taillights with tri-arrow pattern, high-set rear bumper, roof-mounted stop lamps, black cladding, raked windscreen, neatly sculpted tailgate with company branding and more.

Dimension-wise, the Tata Punch measures 3827 mm in length, 1742 mm in width and 1615 mm in height, while the wheelbase is 2445 mm. Its ground clearance is 187mm. It will be offered in six color options – Orcus White, Tornado Blue, Calypso Red, Meteor Bronze, Atomic Orange, Tropical Mist and Daytona Grey. Note, the dual-tone color options are reserved only for the top-spec model.

On the inside, the punch gets a neatly designed dual-tone painted dashboard which gives a modern and stylish appeal to the overall cabin. The micro SUV comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. There is also Tata’s iRA connectivity suite optional for the top-end Creative variant. The instrument cluster looks similar to that seen on the Altroz ​​premium hatchback. It also gets 90-degree opening doors for hassle-free entry and exit, which is again a carryover.
