A teacher has a very important impact on the life of the students. They inspire the students to become a better version of themselves. No matter how old we grow, we always think of the teachers who gave us hope. One such example was shared by a UK teacher on Twitter and the internet couldn’t get over it.
Mark Dent, acting head of Cambrai Primary School, shared on the microblogging site a recent conversation he had with one of his former students, connecting with him after many years. The alumnus wanted to thank the teacher for something he said 20 years ago.
He shared a screenshot of a message that read, “About 20 years ago you told me at a parent’s evening that I should do something in science because I clearly love it. Graduated in Marine Biology and just got a job offer in GSK for Microbiological Technologist. You’re the first person to find out because you’re the first person I weirdly thought about. This really stuck with me all those years ago and I just want to say thank you, you were right. Have a nice day friend.
Today I was tracked by an alumnus and received this message. The moment I read it, I was filled with pride and emotion. This is what we do for this, fellow teachers. pic.twitter.com/EVnBMxJVfS

Another user said, “I haven’t done anything remarkable in life but I always remember my form teacher Mr Meakin in 8. He was the first teacher to show faith in me and really encourage me and Used to include me in all the school sports. He moved to Australia. I wish I could meet him to say thank you.
“What a message to get! Magical,” one person commented.
“It is one of the many reasons why teaching is the best job in the world!!” said a user.
