HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 214 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths on Thursday, taking the state’s coronavirus tally to 6,65,963 and the toll to 3,918.
A total of 208 patients were declared healthy on Thursday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,57,421.
On Thursday, 46,190 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed testing 2.63 crore samples and has reached 7.08 lakh sample tests per million population.
NS Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 64 new cases on Thursday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri reported 12 cases, Ranga Reddy 10 and Sanga Reddy 2. Outside Hyderabad city and its outskirts, Karimnagar reported the maximum number of cases with 16 new cases.
