Telangana Assembly Election LIVE: A row erupted on Monday over the the Election Commission’s decision to withdraw the permission given to the BRS-led state government for disbursement of financial aid to farmers for rabi crops under the Rhythu Bandhu Scheme. EC’s decision came after the EC cited a violation of the model code of conduct after a state Finance minister T Harish Rao allegedly violated the provisions of the code by publicising it. Meanwhile, Union Minister Amit Shah on Monday claimed that there was an atmosphere of “anger” against the ruling BRS in the state and the people did not want the KCR-led party to come back to power.
