After losing a Zilla Parishad president at the hands of the Congress recently, the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has faced yet another embarrassing moment when Badnagpet Municipal Corporation Mayor Parijat Narasimha Reddy along with four other corporators joined the Congress. have decided to join.

Ms Parijata was elected mayor of the newly formed corporation on the outskirts of the city after joining the TRS from Congress along with some other councillors.

Ms Parijata announced her joining the Congress after sending her resignation to TRS Ranga Reddy District President and MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy.

In the letter, he expressed his desire to leave the party, and thanked all the leaders who supported him during his tenure.

The mayor apparently resigned from the TRS due to differences with Mr. Kishan Reddy. He also alleged that despite his sincere efforts to work for the party, TRS leaders in Maheshwaram constituency and corporation are sidelining him. Maheshwaram constituency is represented by Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy.

Earlier, Ms. Parijata spoke to TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy and discussed with him his return to the party.

On Sunday afternoon, she left for New Delhi along with Mr Revanth Reddy and four other corporators, all originally elected on Congress tickets.

He is likely to join the party in New Delhi in the presence of senior leaders.
