According to the police, the deceased were B Arvind (20) of Thattekunta Thanda, D Anand (21) of Lakshminaik Thanda, B Naveen (21) of Bhotia Thanda and V Vinesh (19) of Eipur Thanda in Suryapet district.
Police said the accident took place when bikes coming from opposite directions collided with each other at Nashimpet in Atmakur mandal at 2 pm.
Three victims died on the spot, while Vinesh succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Police say overspeeding could be the reason for the accident.
A case was registered under section 304-A of IPC. The bodies were sent to Suryapet Hospital for postmortem.
