Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao said that the Telangana delegation included his 10-day visit to the UK and World The economic forum, Davos, was successfully concluded.
During the visit, KTR has participated in several meetings, interacted with top executives of global corporations and participated in panel discussions.
Concluding trip three, the minister tweeted, “An extremely fruitful journey comes to an end! It’s been a fruitful and fulfilling 10 days trip to UK & @wef Davos. 45 Business meetings, 4 round table meetings, 4 panel discussions, over Rs 4200 crore investment, many thanks to my team and Telangana diaspora for making this a huge success.”
The minister also said that the primary objective of the visit is to showcase Telangana as an investment destination for global companies and bring investment to the state and thereby create more employment opportunities for the youth of Telangana.
After attending back-to-back meetings with various business leaders in the UK, Minister KTR arrived in Davos, Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) where he met representatives of several renowned organisations. After the meeting with IT Minister KTR, many companies have come forward to invest in Telangana. The Telangana Pavilion at WEF, set up with the slogan “India welcomes the world, Telangana First Stop”, is very attractive and totally stands out.
Apart from attending formal business meetings, Minister KTR participated in panel discussions. Officials said the minister “impressed” a large audience of global officials with his understanding of key contemporary issues.
ZF announces its expansion plan in Hyderabad
German auto parts manufacturer ZF is all set to inaugurate its latest facility in Hyderabad. The ZF Facilitation Center at Nanakramguda, built at a cost of about Rs 322 crore, will be inaugurated on June 1, 2022. Officials said the proposed facility would create employment opportunities for around 3,000 people.
