Telangana minister alleges paramilitary CRPF thrashed his son

Mr Reddy said that he and the TRS government were being targeted by the BJP.

Telangana Labor Minister C Malla Reddy today alleged that his son was thrashed by CRPF personnel who accompanied Income Tax officials during raids at his residence and educational institutions.

Malla Reddy’s son Mahender Reddy was admitted to the hospital this morning after he complained of chest pain.

Speaking to reporters at the hospital, Malla Reddy claimed that her family doctor was not allowed to meet her son.

IT officials were not immediately available for comment.

“The CRPF police have beaten my elder son the whole night and he has been admitted to the hospital. They are not allowing my son’s doctor to meet him. They are not even allowing me to meet him. ) get money, what is wrong with it? They have to do their work.’

Describing the searches as ‘political vendetta’, Mr Reddy said he and the TRS government were being targeted by the BJP.

Responding to a question, the minister said that there was no irregularity in seat allotment in his medical college and everything was transparent as per the guidelines issued by the state government.

“Are we doing any illegal business? Are we running a casino or smuggling? We are giving education to poor students. The evil BJP government at the center has sent 200 IT officers to us. must have been beaten.” He has been admitted to the hospital due to complaints of chest pain.

The raid which started at 6 am on Tuesday is still going on. He claimed that the Income Tax officials found only Rs 6 lakh (unaccounted cash).

Sources in the know of the development said that Income Tax Department officials are examining the tax records of Reddy and educational institutions owned by him and his family.

Raids were also conducted in educational institutions.
