Temjen Imna shared the video of popular Naga dish, said- ‘Reminds me of my mother’s dish’

Indian food is famous all over the world for its wide variety of dishes. Be it Kashmiri Rogan Josh or Thalassery Biryani, these classic dishes never fail to satisfy our taste buds. People love to experiment with new cuisines or try food from different parts of the country, and even showcase it on social media. It seems Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Along also leaves no opportunity to share food related content on his social media. She recently shared a video of a special Naga dish from her home state, and it looks absolutely delicious.

Nagaland Minister Temjen Imna Along shared a video of the popular Naga dish, Pork Smoked with Taro Leaves, on Twitter. Titled ‘Naga Food Tribe’, the video shows the preparation of the dish and brings back memories for the minister. He tweeted, “Ah! Fermented taro leaves with smoked pork. This reminded me of my mother’s dish. Missing home.” This dish is a staple in Naga households and is usually served with rice. Check out his tweet here:

His tweet quickly garnered attention across the internet, garnering over 116.5K views, 203 retweets and numerous comments. Internet users were impressed with the dish and expressed their desire to try it. One user wrote, “Wow, wonderful dish, mouth watering.” Another user suggested, “You should open a Naga restaurant in Delhi.” One user wrote, “It looks delicious, sir.” A fourth person wrote, ‘It’s really yummy coming soon.’ “Looks delicious. What do you eat it with?” asked another.

This is not the first time that Temjen Imna Along has shared food-related content on social media. In a recent tweet, he shared its recipe clavicle, a special curry from his home state. The dish is prepared using boiled potatoes, tomatoes and fermented fish. Temjen Imna invited her followers to try the recipe by saying, “Note the recipe.” You can read all about it here.
