Terra Classic, a rebrand of the original Terra series, skyrocketed by nearly 62% in 24 hours. The token has outperformed the overall crypto market and leaders such as Bitcoin and Ethereum on Thursday. Its monthly profit has now become three digits in percentage terms. Meanwhile, the new Terra series called Terra Luna climbed more than 17%. Currently, Terra Classic is one of the top trending tokens in the cryptocurrency market.
On CoinMarketCap, at the time of writing, Terra Classic (Lunc) was trading at $0.000268, up 61.94%. Its market cap is around $1.76 billion.
Meanwhile, Terra Luna is trading at $1.99 with a market cap of $253.32 million, up 17.24%.
According to the exchange, on a real-time basis, Terra Classic is up by over 145% in the past seven days. Whereas in a month, the token has blossomed with a strong growth of over 165%.
The reason for the upbeat sentiment in Terra Token could be due to LUNC’s V22 network upgrade.
In addition, the north direction at lunch can be attributed to Terra’s launch of a new governance alert bot that will alert investors to the latest governance activity taking place on Terra.
