The terrorist was killed during an ongoing encounter in Drangbal area of Pampore village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, an official said on Saturday.

“The operation was launched at night,” police said.
Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said that a top Lashkar commander, Umar Mushtaq Khande, who was involved in the killing of two policemen at Baghat in Srinagar, was trapped in the Pampore encounter.
Khan was recently included in the top 10 terrorists of Kashmir.
