With the stagnation in exports, the sewing machine industry in Punjab’s Ludhiana is bearing the brunt of the current situation in Afghanistan. Ludhiana is considered to be the largest manufacturing center of the sewing machine industry. It is expected that exports of Rs 150-200 crore will be impacted.
