Palghar Superintendent of Police said, “In its interim report, Mercedes-Benz stated that seconds before the accident the car was traveling at a speed of 100 kmph, while it was 89 kmph when it hit the divider on the bridge. ” Balasaheb Patil Told.
He also said that a team of experts from Mercedes-Benz is scheduled to come to Mumbai from Hong Kong on Monday to inspect the car.
The Superintendent of Police further said, Regional Transport Office has also submitted its report, which mentions that four air bags in the car were opened after the accident – three in the driver’s seat and one in the side seat.
