The bus driver fell asleep! More than a dozen injured in bus and truck collision in UP’s Varanasi

At least thirteen people were injured in a collision between a passenger bus and a truck on the national highway in Varanasi. According to news agency ANI, the bus was going towards Varanasi from Bihar’s Gaya district on Sunday morning. The report further claimed that the driver of the bus had fallen asleep, which led to the tragic accident.

On the other hand, all the injured have been referred to BHU Trauma Center for treatment.

Three people died in another bus accident in Noida

Earlier today, three people were killed and several others injured when two buses collided on the Greater Noida Expressway in the early hours. In a statement issued after the horrific accident, the Greater Noida Police said, “Three people were killed in a collision between two buses on the Greater Noida Expressway under Knowledge Park. Police personnel are present at the spot.”

According to the police, the bus was going from Anand Vihar to Pratapgarh while the other was going from Delhi towards Shivpuri. Police said all the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
