The first batch of Masters Union B-School got an average package of 29.12 lakhs

Masters Union School of Business – A newly established private college has seen one of the highest average packages among its contemporaries. First batch of 16 months on-campus, post graduation Technology And the Business Management (PGP-TBM) program has got an average package of Rs 29.12 lakh. This is a higher package this year than all Indian B-schools including IIMs and ISBs.

The placement reports of Masters Union have been audited by Brickworks Analytics, a rating and auditing agency that also audits the placement reports of leading IIMs.

consulting giants BCG, Bain & Company; Tech majors Microsoft, Virtusa and Cisco and several Indian startups including Razorpay and Unacademy were among the biggest recruiters. While the top 10% of the batch has given a package above Rs. 43.66 lakhs and the top 50% was at Rs. 36.12 lakh, even the bottom 10% have given a package above Rs. 19 lakhs. The average package for freshers is also Rs 23 lakh.

Consulting companies such as BCG, Bain, EY and others hired approximately 13.28% of the cohort. Given the technical focus at Masters Union, product and program management roles were in high demand, with more than a third of the batch holding such roles. Notably, 12 percent of students took the new economy role of chief of staff/executive in residence with founders at major startups such as Neemance, Sequoia-funded OneCode and Agnext. In addition to placements and keeping in mind the recent trends, 7 per cent of the group have launched their own startups and raised VC funds.

The Masters Union began its first group in 2020 with a unique offer of students taught by CEOs, CXOs, top academics from all disciplines, Members of Parliament and other practitioners of equal credentials.
