All the biryani lovers were heartbroken as it rained heavily in Hyderabad. This happened after a video that showed two ships, possibly filled with the beloved dish, were caught floating in a city filled with water. Monsoon usually blocks the roads but this time the biryani enthusiasts had to pay the price. The video is reportedly shot outside the ‘Adiba Hotel’ in Nawab Saheb Kunta, Hyderabad. It shows a black pot on top of a brown one as we walk away from the restaurant.
The caption of this video going viral reads, ‘Someone is going to be sad for not getting their biryani order.
Since being uploaded, the video has managed to go viral and garner over 1 million views. Many users were seen expressing their displeasure about this incident. One user wrote, ‘This being Shravan Masam, I definitely can’t miss Biryani. I’m sure someone has ordered and requested fast delivery. Another person interpreted it as “floating biryani”. This comes as Hyderabad received heavy rain and thunder and lightning on Friday. Due to this many areas of the city were submerged. According to the IMD, the relative humidity level of the city was 91 per cent on Friday.
In another similar monsoon story, a video shared on Twitter by IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra, a procession is seen running behind a decorated bus. The video shows guests dancing their hearts out in the rain with the most carefree attitude as they are covered in the shade of a giant yellow tarpaulin. Instead of stopping when it rains, relatives and friends of the groom were seen dancing in the rain, enjoying the vibe to the fullest.
