While various reports are doing the rounds, ETimes has learned that preparations are in full swing to start the wedding ceremony from April 13-14 as per Punjabi traditions. While the bride and groom have remained silent on the subject, tabloids have it that the couple will tie the knot on April 16 or 17.
A new report by Pinkvilla.com states that the couple will reportedly take a dip in the early morning hours. It has been claimed that RK will marry Aaliya as husband and wife between 2-4 am.
The report also claims that there is numerology at play with this. The date 16 April 2022, when interestingly adds up to Kapoor’s lucky number ‘8’ (16 + 4 + 2022 = 2042). This in turn allows 2042 to be calculated as 2 + 0 + 4 + 2 = 8.
The festivities are expected to begin with the mehendi ceremony, followed by the sangeet and then the wedding.
Amidst rumors that the couple was heading out of town for a destination wedding with only family presence, a source told ETimes, “Family means the world to the Kapoors. This is probably the last Kapoor wedding of this generation, Which is why they wanted to keep it close to their roots.”
Apart from seeing some familiar faces from the Kapoor families, it is also reported that Vicky Kaushal And Katrina KaifAnd Ranveer Singh And Deepika Padukone Intimate marriages are also likely to be invited.
