The EQE SUV will be available with Mercedes-Benz MBUX HyperScreen Which consists of three large displays linked together under a single piece of glass. The electric SUV gets turbine-styled external air-con vents while the middle vent is placed neatly above the infotainment system, integrated into the trim design that continues to the front doors.
Mercedes-Benz will offer the EQE SUV with five different coordinated interior color combinations to choose from, including Balo Brown with Neva Gray pictured here. The company has also revealed that a new hybrid trim will also be used inside the cabin of the electric SUV with “the warmth of wood with the technical coolness of true aluminum”.
While Mercedes hasn’t revealed any further details about the EQE SUV, we expect it to use the same electric powertrain as the sedan variant. This means that the SUV could be offered with a 90 kWh battery pack, coupled with a rear-mounted electric motor that churns out 288 hp over the entry-level version. There is also likely to be a dual-motor setup with the 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive configuration as well as the AMG model with additional power and torque.
