The Kashmir Files box office collection Day 9: Vivek Agnihotri’s film inches close to Rs 150 cr

The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, continues to do well at the box office. The film has broken all records ever since its release on March 11. After crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in just seven days, The Kashmir Files is now expected to cross the Rs 150 crore mark. On Day 9, it reportedly earned Rs 24.50 crore, taking the total box office collection to Rs 140.95 crore. The Kashmir Files, which released on March 11, is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus during the 1990 Kashmir insurgency. The film stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi.

The Kashmir Files has minted Rs 100 crore at the box office. Now, it is running towards the Rs 150 crore mark and should touch that mark before the end of the second weekend. On Day 9, initial estimates suggest that the film earned Rs 24.50 crore. Hence, the total box office collection is now Rs 140.95 crore. Meanwhile, on Saturday, March 19, 2022, the film had an overall Hindi occupancy of 70.72%. Kashmir Files has a shot at touching Rs 300 crore by the end of its run.
