The makers of upcoming Malayalam film Nalla Nilavulla Raatri released its official trailer on Friday. Directed by debutant Murphy Devasi, the film will be the first film to release under the banner of Sandra Thomas Productions. Jealousy, betrayal and anger are expected to be tinged among the characters present in this mass-action thriller film. Chemban Vinod Jose, Baburaj Jacob, Jinu Joseph, Binnu Pappu, Ronnie David Raj, Ganapathy, Nithin George and Sajin Cherukayil are playing lead roles in the film. The film will release in the second fortnight of May.
In the trailer, a group of former college friends travel to Shimoga, probably for professional reasons. The squad meets up with a former friend at a remote resort, played by Chemban Vinod Jose. The trailer then moves into a suspenseful fast-paced zone, giving away the fact that the film is going to be a thriller with suspense and action. The changing equation between friends can be understood very well through the trailer. The mysterious house in the middle of the jungle as shown in the trailer certainly hints at some of the mysteries that are present in this film.
The screenplay of the film is written by Murphy Devasi and Prafulla Suresh. The absence of any female characters in this film adds to its uniqueness. The cinematography of the film was done by Ajay David Kachappilly. The makers of the film have also claimed that it will completely satisfy the youth who enjoy action dramas.
Recently the team of this film was seen dancing on the song Thanaro Thannaro from the film in Kochi Water Metro. Photos and videos of the ride were posted on Sandra Thomas’ Instagram account. The pictures and videos show how the entire cast of the film cannot stop themselves from grooving to the tunes of the recently released song from the film.
Since its launch a few weeks back, the song has garnered over 2 million views. Rajesh Thamburu, Baburaj, Ronnie David, Jinu Joseph, Sajin, Nitin George, Ganapathy and Kailas are among the singers who have contributed to the song.
