In India, there are many national parks and wildlife sanctuaries where animals can find protection. In forested areas throughout the country, interactions between humans and animals are frequent. Another animal-human relationship is caught on tape, in this instance when an elephant stopped a truck so it could eat some sugarcane.

In the short clip, an elephant stops a truck in the middle of the road, snatches sugarcane from it and offers them a treat.
The video has so far garnered nearly 2,30,000 views, over 1000 retweets and over 6,000 likes.
Social media users posted many insightful comments reacting to this remarkable animal-human interaction.
One user commented, “The special thing is that it is not greedy. He lets them go after eating each and every morsel from the truck.”
Another user wrote, “I love how people are cooperating instead of trying to somehow get ahead. It seems like they’ve become used to this sort of thing.”
