There will be new editions of Realme Narzo series soon: CEO

The Narzo series will have new variants soon and will cater to different price segments. They will feature a more powerful 5G processor, sleeker design, amazing display and faster charging, wrote Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth on his blog. He is also the VP, Realme and President of the Realme International Business Group.

As India prepares to roll out 5G network in 2022, there will be a high demand for better 5G-capable smartphones on online channels, Sheth said.

According to Counterpoint Research, Narzo series crossed 10 million cumulative shipments in January 2022 in India. Moreover, the recently launched Narzo 50A Prime has become a bestseller on Amazon with over 100K units sold on the first sale day, claims Sheth.

Realme Narzo 50A Prime has a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. The display has 600 nits peak brightness and 2408×0180 resolution. Unisoc T612 processor has been used in the smartphone. The Narzo 50A Prime supports 18W charger and comes with a 5,000mAh battery. It runs on Android 11.

The Narzo 50A Prime sports a 50MP main lens which is backed by a B&W sensor and a 2MP macro lens. An 8MP selfie camera has been used in this.

Realme also launched its first 150W charger phone. GT Neo 3With Dimensity 8100 processor, Triple rear camera with Sony IMX766 sensor.
