These 3 Tata Group stocks to trade ex-dividend this week. Do you own any?

The ex-dividend date is when the price of the equity shares of a company gets adjusted for the dividend payout. It is one or two working days before the record date. All the shareholders whose names appear in the company’s list by the end of the record date will be eligible to receive dividends.

Tata Consultancy Services

The board of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has declared a final dividend of 48.  The company has set 15 June, 2023 as the record date. It will trade ex-dividend on 15 June, 2023.

In its financial results filing on exchanges, TCS said, “the Directors have recommended a Final Dividend of 24 per Equity Share of 1 each of the Company which shall be paid/dispatched on the fourth day from the conclusion of the 28th Annual General Meeting, subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company.”

Further, TCS said shareholders’ payout comes around 45,602 crore in the form of dividends in FY23.

Prior to the final dividend, so far in FY23, TCS has paid three interim dividends to the shareholders. The latest was an interim dividend of 8 per share and a special dividend of 67 per share.

The first interim dividend was in July 2022 at 8 per equity share. A similar 8 per share dividend was announced as the second interim in October last year.

Taking into consideration the three interim dividends, in FY23, the company has paid a total equity dividend of 9,100% aggregating to 91 per share.

On Friday, the company’s share ended 0.79 per cent down at 3,210.45 on BSE.

Tata Investment Corporation

Tata Investment Corporation had earlier announced to pay a dividend of 48 per share to its shares. The company has fixed June 13 as the record date for the same and will trade ex-dividend on June 12.

On Friday, the company’s share ended 0.71 per cent up at 2,345 on BSE.

Tata Chemicals

The company has declared a final dividend of 17.5. The record date is set as June 15. It will trade ex-dividend on 14 June, 2023.

On Friday, the company’s share ended 1.70 per cent up at 986.30 on BSE.
