Colombo: Budding spinner Mahesh Dikshana Sri Lanka took four wickets South Africa Won the series 2-1 on Tuesday by 78 runs in the third One Day International.

Maharaj struck first, lbw Avishka Fernando for 10, and returned figures of 3-38 with his left-arm spin. Fellow spinners George Linde and Tabrez Shamsi took two wickets each.
South Africa successfully reviewed the wickets of the openers in their side after Fernando and Dinesh Chandimal were dismissed lbw for nine off a left-arm orthodox Linde, given unbeaten by the on-field umpires.
The spinners continued to strike as Aiden Markram sent Dhananjaya de Silva back for 31 and Maharaj got two, including captain Dasun Shanaka and Hasaranga, as Sri Lanka slipped to 121-6.
Aslanka escaped with a respite for 36 when Linde was caught at mid-wicket, but the delivery was declared a no ball with more fielders than allowed.
Left-arm wrist spinner Shamsi eventually overtook Aslanka and denied the left-hander a half-century.
Both the sides will now play three Twenty20 Internationals at the same venue starting Friday.
