The name of India’s Golden Girl- Saikhom Mirabai Chanu has once again created a buzz after her record breaking performance in the Commonwealth Games 2022. Mirabai lifted a total of 201 kg – 88 kg in snatch and 113 kg in clean and jerk. His personal best as well as setting a new CWG record. In Birmingham, you could say, she was on her own. Lifting 29 kg more weight than Mary Hanitra Ranivosoa of Mauritius, who finished second. A year ago on July 24, she won a silver medal in Tokyo and has now made the country proud by winning a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games. Watch to know more.
